Welcome to levi

Warm welcome to Levi Lapland and to the Interski Congress 2023. We are honoured to host the Crown jewel of Snow Sports, Interski.

Worldwide networking and a shared passion for snow sports has always been in the very core of the event. This is something to nourish and maintain. Addition to strong representation of alpine skiing, we wish to bring up other snow sports equally.

We want to also look at the bigger picture: We are in the Experience business. But do we really recognise all the building blocks of an engaging guest experience in our industry? The experience of teaching snow sports is more than just the service provided by the instructors or school. It included the resort, snow conditions, weather, equipment, safety, pedagogical approach and circumstances facing each individual. Are we capable of adjusting our services or our teaching plan to meet the needs and expectations of the varied guests? These are the topics we wish to address during the Interski Congress 2023.

To serve the same purpose, we have identified different target groups for Interski Congress. Thus, the itinerary for the event week will be built to meet the interest of different audiences. Most likely Ski School Directors are interested in different topics than instructors with a couple of years’ experience. We also want to offer a more targeted way of networking e.g., trainers exchanging ideas with other trainers from different nations. Moreover, we believe this framework will help You, workshop holders and lecturers, to plan your session.

We look forward to the shared knowledge, insights and innovative ideas that will be discussed and created for the future of the Snow Sport Experience. Importantly, that the Snow Sports as an industry will flourish.
