How to get here?

The airport transportation from Kittilä airport is included in the gongress package.

There are good amount of Finnair flight connetions via Helsinki to Kittilä from all the main airports at Europe, but also several straight flights from North America and Asia to Helsinki. Bus from Rovaniemi Airport takes about 2 hours (Not included in the package). There will be straight Lufthansa connection from Munich to Kittilä on Saturdays During the Winter seasong 2023.

We are working on to get more connections to Kittilä, all updates will be here, as soon as we know!

Trains will get you to Kolari or Rovaniemi. Buses to Levi depart from Kolari after the train has arrived. There are also buses from Rovaniemi to Levi (make sure to check the connections). Don’t forget that you can take your car on the train, too, and drive the final stretch from Kolari or Rovaniemi to Levi.

Food

Once at Levi, you won’t be left hungry. There are around 60 restaurants and a total of 15,500 seats, so there’s no doubt you’ll be able to find your favourite, Levi has plenty to choose from. Most of the restaurants provide local specialities and traditional dishes, but international options are also available. Levi has a variety of bars, pubs and clubs as well. And everything is within easy approaching distance.

Levi has everything you need during your stay. Rental and prepare shops, medical centre, dentist and pharmacy, gym and spa etc. From here you can see the locations, opening times and more information of all the services.

Getting around

Levi Village is very compact so you can walk everywhere. There are also Ski Busses that run from the morning until the evening. The Ski Buses transfer between the main slopes and the major accommodation areas. There are two routes which connect at the Zero Point building at the foot of the Front Slopes.  You can find more info about the tickets and schedules here.

Activities

Levi is fun for everyone! There are plenty of unique experiences to choose from. The Big Five of Levi are Aurora Borealis, husky sled ride, reindeer ride, snowshoeing and snowmobile safari. Pick your favourite activity here or try something new! 

Winter climate

Winter is the longest season in Lapland, typically lasting from November well into the beginning of April. The mean temperature lies between -10 and -18 °C. Occasionally temperatures may fall as low as -30 °C or even lower. The real feel of the cold is affected by the wind. The snow cover is deepest around mid-March, with an average of 60 to 90 cm of snow.

Language

The two main official languages of Finland are Finnish and Swedish. English is spoken widely. Some also speak German.

Currency

The Euro is the Finland’s official currency.
