During the week we offer a special excursion program for everyone interested in getting to know Levi and it’s neighbouring fells, Pallas and Ylläs.
We also offer the possibility to visit a Husky Farm.
These programs have been created by Juksu Olkkola. You’ll get a chance to see the best places and get the best tips from a local pro. Don’t miss out on the opportunity to take part in these excursions with our local experts!
Friday afternoon is highlighted by a Masters Ski Racing competition. Make sure you’ll sign up! :)

GUIDED TOUR WITH SKIS “AROUND LEVI”
Getting to know the ski area and services with the help of local guides. The duration of the tour is approx. 2 hours. You need your own or rented equipment ready to go. The tour is free of charge for everyone.

HUSKY FARM VISIT AND 2 KM HUSKYRIDE
During the guided visit you will get to know everyday life of a Huskypark and animals as well as sled dog traditions. 2km huskyride through the snow-filled forest and across the frozen lake. The large sled can fit a bigger group, and the guide will take care of the driving. On the guided park tour in Huskypark you will meet the animals from reindeers and arctic foxes to movie wolves and red foxes. Snacks and hot drinks are served in a warm Laplander’s hut by the fire.

SKI TOURING AT PALLAS
Pallas offers a great variety of backcountry skiing spots in the heart of Pallas-Yllästunturi National Park. It is very unique to start a journey above timberline and stay there for the whole trip. Our aim is to reach the highest peak in the region, a fell called Taivaskero. That being said, we take weather conditions very seriously and we make the final plan just before departure and therefore the destination might change. It is expected that participants have good skills in downhill skiing and they are in good physical conditions. We take few ski lifts, but we might hike around 400 - 500 vertical meters. You don't need to have prior experience in backcountry skiing. Groups of different skill levels will be formed at the starting position.

REQUIREMENTS:
The tour will take about 3-4 hours and weather conditions in the Arctic mountains might change fast. Please have a backpack with you for your own skins as well as extra windproof layers, extra pair of gloves, cap, helmet, energy gel, cold or warm water
The tour is held in English and all instructions will be shared in English
We do not provide insurance and participants are responsible for their own cover
Any medical condition that might affect the ability to operate in the fells, should be shared with the guides at the meeting point
If you plan having your own equipment, you should have skis and bindings with rando mode, skins and poles for climbing. If you use snowboard, we expect you to have either splitboard or snowshoes with you.
SKIING TRIP TO YLLÄS SKI RESORT (DOWNHILL)
Ylläs fell is a seven fells resort situated 50 km, approx. 45 min by bus from Levi. With 63 slopes and 29 lifts Ylläs is the largest resort in Lapland and Finland. Ylläs has excellent snowpark areas, super-G slope and off-piste slopes. For snowboarders Ylläs is a dream come true with many possibilities. Ylläs is also one of the most popular places among telemark skiers and off-piste skiers with several fells of untouched snow.
There are total of 330 km of mechanically prepared trails are available and 38 km of these are illuminated. The great fells are easy to reach also for beginners. The trails are arranged so that the route can be changed as desired, therefore giving countless alternatives in the beautiful nature.

LIFT PASS: With ISIA-card free of charge and with Interski-pass -50% discount. Lift passes are collected/bought from ticket office in Ylläs.
“MASTERS” SKI RACING
Slalom training and Masters competition at Levi’s Alpine training park. First two hours is training and after lunch Masters competition with age leveling system. Registration in advance is required! Participation is free of charge.
